CULINARY WELLNESS & MENU DEVELOPMENT
I work with individuals, restaurants, hotels, institutions, and food businesses to create food that is thoughtful, exciting, and deeply connected to the people it is designed for.
My approach brings together culinary creativity, nutrition, food science, and practical kitchen experience to develop food that is delicious, satisfying, nourishing, and full of possibility.
Whether the goal is to develop a plant-based menu, reimagine an existing one, accommodate dietary needs, create a new food product, or make healthier food genuinely exciting, I begin with the desired outcome and work backward.
The goal isn’t simply to remove ingredients or make compromises. It is to discover what becomes possible when nutrition, creativity, and pleasure come together—and to create food that makes people feel good, cared for, and excited to come back for more..
WHAT I DO
1. MENU DEVELOPMENT
Creating menus around people, purpose, and place.
I develop plant-based and plant-forward menus for restaurants, hotels, institutions, private clients, and other food businesses.
This can include creating new dishes, adapting existing menus, developing complete meal programs, improving nutritional balance, working within ingredient limitations, and designing food that is practical to prepare and serve.
2. CULINARY WELLNESS
Making healthier food something people actually enjoy eating.
Wellness doesn’t have to mean sacrificing pleasure.
I work with clients to develop meals that support specific nutritional goals while remaining familiar, satisfying, colorful, flavorful, and enjoyable.
This can include menus for people with dietary restrictions, changing nutritional needs, low appetite, food sensitivities, athletes, picky eaters, or people simply looking for a healthier way to eat.
3. FOOD PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Transforming culinary ideas into thoughtful, delicious food.
I work from an initial concept through experimentation and refinement to develop new foods and recipes.
This may include plant-based proteins, burgers, sauces, flatbreads, prepared meals, components, or entirely new food concepts.
The process can include ingredient exploration, formulation, cooking methods, texture development, recipe development, testing, and refinement.
4. PLANT-BASED INTEGRATION
Adding compelling plant-based food to an existing operation.
Going plant-based doesn’t have to mean starting over.
I help restaurants, hotels, institutions, and other food businesses develop plant-based options that fit naturally into an existing menu and appeal to more than just the people already looking for plant-based food.
The objective is simple:
Create food that stands on its own.
SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS
Dietary restrictions shouldn’t automatically mean boring food.
I develop meals around individual nutritional requirements, allergies, sensitivities, preferences, and limitations while keeping flavor, texture, appearance, and enjoyment at the center.
Every client has different needs. I listen first, then design the food around the person.
The examples below show how I approach different dietary needs and limitations—from athletes and children to highly restricted and limited-ingredient diets. The goal is always the same: create food that meets the need without losing the pleasure of eating.
